Steps to Integrate Zabbix with AlarmsOne:

Following are the steps involved to integrate Zabbix with AlarmsOne.

Steps to be followed in AlarmsOne:

1. Sign up for AlarmsOne service and log into your account. Click on Applications icon in the left panel.

2. Click Agents and then click Add Agent(+) to download the agent (or) poller.

3. Once download is complete, install the agent on the machine from where it can reach  Zabbix.

Steps to be followed in Zabbix:

1. Log into Zabbix user interface.

2. Find out the API key for Zabbix by following the steps mentioned here. Copy the "auth" token which is the API key for Zabbix.

Steps to be followed in AlarmsOne:

1. Login to the AlarmsOne, Click on Applications icon and click Add Application in the left pannel and choose Zabbix.

2. Select the registered agent which is deployed nearer to the Zabbix server.

3. Input all the details specific to Zabbix (Agent, Application Label, Application, Host, PORT, Protocol, API key).

4. Click Add to add the application to AlarmsOne.

For Zabbix version 3:

Please go to AlarmPoller/conf/ProductMapping.xml, and in the ProductMapping.xml file, search for Zabbix and under 'reqType', enter "alert" instead of event.
