Noise reduction:

Noise reduction feature in AlarmsOne helps you eliminate repetitive alerts about the same event. By enabling noise reduction, you can get rid of alert noise and focus on critical alerts. Follow the below steps to set up noise reduction.

1. Goto settings and click Config under Noise reduction.

2. In this window, you can Enable/Disable noise reduction by clicking the respective button.

3. AlarmsOne allows you to enable noise reduction for all applications or the applications of your choice. Select the applications by clicking the drop down menu.

4. Now, select the timeout period with respect to a particular event. This is the time period during which AlarmsOne doesn't send repeated notifications about that same event. However, if there is a change in the severity of the incoming alert, AlarmsOne will notify you.

Example: If you set the timeout period as 30 minutes, you will be notified about an event once and the repetitive alerts for the next 30 minutes will be eliminated. If the incident is not resolved even after 30 minutes, you will be notified again.

Right now noise reduction is not available for Log management tools. It will be included soon. Sorry for the inconvenience.
