Configuration Profiles:

Configuration profiles in AlarmsOne helps you reduce alert noise by filtering redundant alarms. You can associate a config profile in your notification profile and receive notifications only for the incidents which you need to be notified.

Take control of your notification profile by easily setting complex rules to decide when you need to be notified. With standard and app-specific fields, AND/OR conditions, and multiple groups, AlarmsOne allows you to configure criteria with as many combinations as you need.

Adding a Config Profile:

Fields:

You can choose to get notified if a field Matches/Not Matches the value you entered.  To add more conditions inside a group, click  (+) . You can add as many conditions as you need. If you want all the conditions to be satisfied, click ALL. If you just need any of the conditions to be satisfied, click ANY

Note: AlarmsOne shows all the app-specific fields found in an alarm from any application you choose. You can also filter alarms using those app-specific fields.
Example: An alert from AppManager has Health Severity , Annotations, and Short message as app-specific fields . When you select AppManager as your application, you can select these fields in the drop down box and define required rules.

'ALL' condition warningWhen you choose two applications in Applications list, and also set Match/Not Match rules for Fields from the two applications inside one Group, make sure that you dont set the condition as Match ALL.

Groups:

When you define rules based on the app-specific fields of two or more applications with Match ALL condition, you need to set rules for each application in a different group. You can add multiple groups and each group can contain multiple conditions. To add another group, click Add at the bottom right corner of the current group.

You can run only OR condition between two or more groups.

Defined Criteria:

You can view the rules you have defined in the 'Defined criteria' box. This changes dynamically as you keep on adding rules. You can verify the notification profile criteria here.
