Steps to Integrate Atlassian HipChat with AlarmsOne:

HipChat is a hosted group chat and video chat built for team collaboration.

To integrate HipChat with AlarmsOne for sharing alarms with your team for discussions, follow the below steps.

Steps to be followed in HipChat:

1. Login to your Hipchat web client and click on a Room.

2. Select Tokens at the left panel.

3. Create a New Token with Scope as "Send Notification".

4. Copy the Token.

5. Click on a Room and in Room Details, and note the API ID.

Steps to be followed in AlarmsOne:

1. Click on Applications icon in the left panel.

2. Click on Add Application. Here, select OutBound tab and click on Hipchat.

3. Fill in the Application Label (e.g. Hipchat).

4. Paste the copied Token in AlarmsOne Hipchat configuration.

5. Paste the copied API ID in AlarmsOne API ID column.

6. Save the configuration.

Now, you can share alarms in AlarmsOne with a chat room in Hipchat.
